Dancehall artiste Malie Donn continues to build momentum ahead of his highly anticipated debut album, The Golden Child, which is scheduled for release this summer. Before the project drops, the deejay is set to drop his new single “Holiday” on May 22, with both releases expected to further strengthen his growing presence in dancehall.
Ahead of the upcoming release, Malie Donn is preparing to take center stage with his “NYC Take Over” event, set for Saturday, May 9, 2026.
The highly anticipated Brooklyn staging has already generated major demand, with only a few tickets remaining. Due to overwhelming interest, promoters Platinum Kids Ent. were forced to change the venue three times in order to accommodate a larger crowd. Patrons in Brooklyn can expect a high-energy set packed with the records that helped build his buzz, along with previews of what’s next from the fast-rising deejay.
Following the New York showcase, Malie Donn is also set to return to London with a show scheduled for September 5 at Indigo at The O2. The 2,700-capacity venue is expected to be packed as the artiste delivers an intimate yet impactful showcase while continuing to expand his international reach.
His debut project, The Grand Rising (2024), featuring collaborations with Byron Messia, Squash, and Armanii, added further depth to his catalogue, while recent releases like “Addios,” “Body Tea,” and “8:00 PM” have continued to showcase his versatility while maintaining the authentic sound that resonates strongly with fans.
