Montego Bay woman fatally shot at People’s Arcade after parking Toyota Voxy

ST JAMES, Jamaica — Officers attached to the St James division have opened enquiries into a homicide recorded Saturday morning at People’s Arcade in Montego Bay.
So far, investigators have not released the victim’s name. Around 6:30 am she arrived at the location at the wheel of a Toyota Voxy, and as she left the vehicle someone shot her. The person who fired is not in custody; information received so far points to a male attacker.
It is understood she had turned up to pick up a pushcart linked to soup vending.
The constabulary was notified without delay, and personnel trained in crime-scene processing are pursuing the matter.
