Hanover police question US passport holder after spouse found dead at rental home
Police in Hanover are questioning a man believed to be a United States passport holder after his spouse was found dead at a rental house in the parish.
The couple, along with a young baby thought to be their child, had reportedly been living in the Bulls Bay area for about a year before the incident. The woman, who is believed to have held a United States green card, was discovered dead inside a room at the property.
Assistant Commissioner Glenford Miller, who heads Area One, confirmed the woman’s killing but said investigators were not yet in a position to say who was responsible.
According to reports, residents contacted the police after they became uneasy when they saw the man walking on the main road towards Lucea with the baby during the predawn hours. The police probe is continuing.
