
Murder suspect from St James held in Manchester after bus stop in Mandeville
Officers have detained a 25-year-old St James resident they describe as a murder suspect after picking him up in Manchester parish on Sunday.
Richard Morgan, also known as Country, is from the Spot Valley area of the Rose Hall community. Members of the Area Three Fugitive Apprehension Team (AFAT) took him into custody during work in Greenvale, Mandeville.
According to the police, the team moved against a Toyota Coaster bus Morgan was aboard shortly after 6:25 p.m. and held him following the stop.
Law enforcement officials say enquiries linked to the matter remain active.
