Neymar clashes with officials after mistaken substitution in Santos loss to Coritiba

Neymar tangled angrily with match officials during Santos's 3-0 defeat to Coritiba after they took him off the field in error.

While the forward was off the pitch receiving treatment, officials processed a substitution naming teammate Gonzalo Escobar instead. Neymar protested to the crew, was shown a yellow card, and held up the substitution slip to television cameras as proof of the mistake.

Santos said afterward that the fourth official had made an "inexplicable" mistake. Neymar also hopes to convince new Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti ahead of the upcoming World Cup squad announcement.
