Petersfield Residents Demand Action After Teen Motorcyclist Dies in Cow Collision
Vinardo Whitelock, an 18-year-old from Logwood District in Whithorne, has died after his motorcycle hit a cow that was in the centre of a road in Petersfield, Westmoreland.
The crash happened late Wednesday night and has angered residents in the area. Mourners say loose cattle and other stray animals along that roadway have repeatedly put road users at risk and have been linked to several fatal crashes. They are urging the authorities to move quickly to identify and bring charges against owners whose negligence allows animals to wander onto the road.
