Holness and Golding hail mothers as Jamaica joins worldwide Mothers Day observance

With Mothers Day being marked around the world today, Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness has urged Jamaicans to take time to honour the island’s mothers.
Writing on social media this morning, he said the occasion should feel special for the women who carried and delivered children.
He encouraged everyone to demonstrate concern — whether through a sincere telephone conversation, a tight hug, or another small, thoughtful deed.
Separately, Opposition Leader Mark Golding portrayed mothers as the force that propels Jamaica forward day after day.
