PNP Mourns Death of Longest-Serving Senate President Oswald Harding KC

The People's National Party has sent condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the late Honourable Oswald Gaskell Harding, OJ, CD, KC, following his death.

Mr Harding, who served as Jamaica's longest-serving President of the Senate, devoted many years to the country as a legislator, King's Counsel, and public servant.

During his extended time in the Upper House, he made a lasting contribution to Jamaica's parliamentary democracy and to the development of the nation's legal and legislative institutions.

He was widely regarded as a patriotic Jamaican who put the country's interests ahead of partisan politics.

His passing closes a long chapter of service in public life and national affairs.

The party extends sincere sympathy to his loved ones and to all who mourn his loss.
