Police have opened a joint investigation after the bodies of a missing Manchester woman and a security guard wanted for questioning in relation to her disappearance were found on Thursday, June 11, 2026.

The deceased have been identified as 40-year-old Kadisa Mloud and 50-year-old Maurice Senel. They were reportedly involved in a relationship. Detectives from the Manchester, St. Elizabeth and St. Ann police divisions are coordinating the probe.

Mloud had been reported missing on Tuesday, June 9. Her body was reportedly found about 9:30 a.m. Thursday in a field in the Peppers area of St. Elizabeth. Police were alerted after a farmer, heading to his field, discovered the body.

Investigators spent several hours at the location processing the scene and collecting evidence.

Earlier the same day, police in St. Ann were called to a location in Brown's Town, where Senel's body was discovered. Investigators said he had a gunshot wound to the head, and his firearm was reportedly found nearby.

Police are treating Senel's death as a suspected suicide. He reportedly sent messages to friends and church groups indicating that he intended to take his life.

Sources said detectives looking into Mloud's disappearance had wanted to question Senel, who was believed to be her significant other. He was being treated as a person of interest in the matter.

Police have not yet determined the full circumstances behind either death. They are asking anyone with information that can assist the investigation to contact the police.
