Popcaan and Likkle Vybz Share First Studio Record on Joel Engineer's Unlocked Riddim
Teenage producer Joel Engineer is deepening his footprint in dancehall with new material from his Unlocked Riddim. A key cut on the set is "Clean," which pairs international dancehall artist Popcaan with Likkle Vybz, one of Vybz Kartel's sons, in their first shared studio outing.
The link-up carries extra meaning because Popcaan has long-standing ties to Kartel, who brought him forward as a protégé and played a central part in building his career. This release is Popcaan's first official recording alongside any of Kartel's children.
"Clean" follows strong early showings from Vybz Kartel's "The Night Just Begin" and Popcaan's "Unlocked," both already on the riddim. Natebadz adds "Draco" to the roster, pushing momentum behind a project that is fast becoming one of the season's most discussed dancehall drops.
