GSAJ president urges BPO firms to cut costs with solar power and AI security

1 min readSt. James

Incoming president of the Global Services Association of Jamaica (GSAJ), Yoni Epstein, has urged the island's business process outsourcing (BPO) industry to identify concrete measures for lowering its operating expenses.

Speaking at the association's 13th annual general meeting at the Montego Bay Free Zone in St. James this week, Epstein said deploying solar energy and artificial intelligence within security operations could help companies bring down heavy overhead costs.

He also maintained that widening the footprint of BPO facilities into additional parishes would allow more communities to share in the sector's growth.
