Aidonia to Headline Appleton Estate Live Wire at Tracks & Records

Appleton Estate has been confirmed as title sponsor of this Thursday's Appleton Estate Live Wire show, with dancehall stalwart Aidonia booked as the headline performer. The concert lands at Usain Bolt's Tracks & Records (UBTR) in St Andrew and is being pitched as a night of high-energy music, upscale hospitality, and unmistakably Jamaican atmosphere. It also serves as the closing flourish of UBTR's month-long anniversary run.
The rum brand is bringing its signature blends, cocktail craft, and Jamaican character to the staging, organisers say. Mark Telfer, channel and customer marketing manager at J. Wray and Nephew Limited, said the line-up promises a strong live showcase from one of the genre's biggest names.
"Aidonia continues to captivate audiences locally and internationally. Aidonia's performance is expected to be a major highlight of the night, as fans anticipate an electrifying set filled with fan favourites and high-octane stage presence. He has proven himself to be a true partner with the Campari Group for our 'Respect The Bitter' campaign as brand ambassador, and by extension, the Wray & Nephew family. So we are confident he will deliver again," Telfer said.
On the brand-experience side, Telfer said guests can look forward to curated Appleton Estate rum cocktails, themed activations, and a setting built around Jamaican music and culture.
"This partnership represents a natural alignment between Appleton Estate's rich heritage and the pulsating energy of Jamaica's music scene," Telfer said. "Live Wire is about creating premium, memorable experiences, and there's no better way to do that than with great music, great people, and exceptional rum."
Carlton Davy of Yung Kingz Entertainment, the production house behind Live Wire, said the show is shaping up as a polished mix of music and lifestyle.
"We're excited about this partnership as we continue building Live Wire into a premium live music experience. At its core, Live Wire is about reggae and dancehall on a live band -- bringing a fresh energy to the culture. Patrons can expect high energy, strong production, and an electric atmosphere. With Aidonia headlining and Amanyea setting the tone as the opening act, it's set to be an unforgettable night," Davy said.
