
Retired US soldier accused of killing man in Portland three years ago sentenced to 22 years’ imprisonment
A retired United States soldier accused of killing a man in Portland three years ago has been sentenced to 22 years’ imprisonment.
He is 48-year-old Emile Tracey of Pine Terrace, Florida, USA.
Tracey was charged with the murder of 43-year-old Craig Senior.
Reports are that in October 2022, Senior was shot and killed at his home in Hart Hill.
Following investigations, Tracey was apprehended.
He later pleaded guilty to murder and illegal possession of a firearm.
When Tracey appeared before Justice Calys Wiltshire in the Portland Circuit Court yesterday, he was sentenced to 22 years for murder and 8 years for illegal possession of a firearm.
The sentences are to run concurrently.
