Andre Brown, also known as “Biggs,” who was being sought by police in connection with murder and shooting allegations, was taken into custody during a major security operation in Runaway Bay, St Ann, on Friday morning.
The operation was carried out in Beverley, near Salem in Runaway Bay, and involved more than 100 law enforcement personnel from several police units. Authorities confirmed that Brown was apprehended on May 15, 2026, following coordinated efforts by the security forces.
Police had previously featured Brown in their “Wanted Wednesdays” social media campaign as investigators intensified efforts to locate him. According to the police, Brown was known to frequent Fitzgerald Avenue in Kingston.
