RUSH Sports secures Caribbean FIFA World Cup 2026 broadcast package

Caribbean Premier Sports Ltd, known as CPSL and the company behind the RUSH Sports Network, has reached an agreement with IRIS Sport Media for exclusive FIFA World Cup 2026 media rights in many Caribbean markets.

Under the arrangement, RUSH Sports will become one of the region's main homes for the tournament, with coverage shaped around how Caribbean viewers follow football. The plan moves beyond a single standard broadcast package and uses several delivery channels across the region.

The model includes top-tier Caribbean-wide programming, selected games assigned to particular markets, free-to-air access in some territories, and wider availability through mobile, streaming and the RUSH Sports Network. Jamaica is listed among the countries expected to get a planned blend of live and delayed games, balancing broader public access with premium coverage.

CPSL chief executive officer Michael Look Tong called the agreement a significant step forward for Caribbean sports media. "The FIFA World Cup is the biggest sporting event on the planet, and our mission is clear, and that is to bring Caribbean fans closer than ever to the drama, passion and energy of the tournament," Look Tong said. "Through RUSH Sports, we are building a uniquely Caribbean broadcast model that combines premium coverage, regional reach, digital accessibility and strategic free-to-air partnerships."

Santiago Sluzewski Monti, Senior Consultant & Partner of IRIS LATAM Sport Media, said CPSL was well placed to handle the regional rollout. "CPSL's regional reach, technical capabilities and understanding of Caribbean audiences make them an excellent partner to deliver the tournament to fans throughout the region."

RUSH Sports also plans programming around the matches, including previews, replays, analysis, fan interaction and stories with a Caribbean focus. Digital and social media coverage will form part of the wider package.
