Senator Abka Fitz-Henley Accuses PNP of Undermining Qualified Jamaicans in Public Service
Share
State Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Senator Abka Fitz-Henley has criticised the Opposition People’s National Party (PNP) for what he called a “malicious tendency” to discredit qualified Jamaicans in public service roles.
His comments came after the PNP questioned the appointment process of Antony Anderson as CEO of the National Reconstruction and Resilience Authority (NaRRA).
Seanator Fitz-Henley defended Anderson’s selection, noting his military and engineering background and long service in national security roles.
He also said the NaRRA appointment followed a competitive process involving 85 applicants and a vetted shortlist overseen by a senior selection panel.
