Spain grants visa-free entry to nine Caribbean states as Jamaica stays off list
Spain has published a roster of 60 countries whose nationals may enter without a visa, and nine Caribbean territories appear on it. Jamaica is not among them.
Spain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that passport holders from Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago may visit Spain without a visa for as long as 90 days in any 180-day window.
People travelling on Jamaican passports must still obtain a Schengen visa before they go to Spain. The approved set of countries spans several continents.
The complete roster is available at https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=CELEX:32018R1806&from=en.
