Spotify Names Drake, Zara Larsson and Ella Langley in 2026 Summer Song Forecast

Spotify has released its 2026 Songs of Summer forecast, putting forward 30 tracks that its editorial team sees as possible seasonal standouts. The list features music from acts such as Zara Larsson, Drake and Ella Langley.
Among the named songs are Drake's "Janice STFU," Larsson's "Midnight Sun," Langley's "Choosin' Texas" and Kacey Musgraves' "Mexico Honey."
Alongside the editorial picks, Spotify is introducing in-app voting for the Songs of Summer playlist. A voting button will appear at the top of the playlist so users can select their preferred track.
For last year's wrap-up, Spotify's Songs of Summer included Alex Warren's "Ordinary," Ravyn Lenae's "Love Me Not," Sabrina Carpenter's "Manchild," Sombr's "Back to Friends" and Moliy, Silent Addy, Skillibeng and Shenseea's "Shake It to the Max (Fly) - Remix."
