Spur Tree Hill Crash Sends Two to Hospital in Latest Manchester Truck Overturn

Two men were taken to hospital Tuesday morning after the truck they were travelling in flipped on Spur Tree Hill Main Road in Manchester.
The injured men, the driver and his assistant, were reportedly transporting food items at the time of the incident. While the full nature of their injuries has not been detailed, they are understood not to be life-threatening.
The crash has again raised alarm about road safety on the Spur Tree corridor, an area long associated with major motor vehicle collisions.
This incident happened only weeks after a fatal crash on the same route on April 7, when a tractor-trailer overturned and two people lost their lives.
The deceased in that earlier crash were identified as 25-year-old truck driver Jordan Sterling of Patrick Drive, Kingston 20, and 21-year-old welder Yanice McLeggon of Queens Lane in Central Village, St Catherine.
