St. Ann police name person of interest in relation to death of woman found with throat slashed

The St. Ann police have named Conross Hylton otherwise called “Rasta” as a person of interest in relation to the killing of a woman in Mammee Bay, St. Ann on Saturday.

Dead is is 34-year-old Jessica Howell, otherwise called Nooks, a vendor, of capture-land, Mammee Bay St. Ann.

Police reports indicate that between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m., a man with whom Howell previously shared a relationship visited her residence.

An altercation later developed between the two during which the man allegedly used a ratchet knife to slash Howell’s throat.

The man then fled the scene in a Toyota Hiace bus.

The police were alerted and the woman was assisted to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The police are appealing to Hylton to turn himself in to the nearest police station.
