St Catherine man remanded over Rose Hill school break-in while on sex offence bail
A St Catherine resident who was already before the court on bail for a sexual offence has been sent back into custody while authorities confirm another place for him to stay. Reshaun Williams is accused of simple larceny and malicious destruction of property in connection with a reported break-in at a primary school.
Williams appeared in the St Catherine Parish Court on Friday, where the court remanded him until May 13.
Prosecutors allege that on June 10, 2025, Williams and another person entered Rose Hill Primary and Infant School in St Catherine unlawfully, went into the tuck shop, and took snacks and juice said to be worth thousands of dollars. The alleged intruders were reportedly interrupted by a security guard, who threw stones at them.
Williams is said to have shouted: "Lawd gi mi a chance, as mi have a next case a gwaan."
The matter was reported to the Riversdale Police. Investigators later arrested and charged Williams, while the second person has not been caught.
