St Elizabeth businessman Clavius Campbell killed during attack at Nain restaurant
Relatives of Clavius Campbell are calling for swift action after the 52-year-old St Elizabeth businessman was killed in a shooting in Nain on Wednesday night.
Campbell’s sister, struggling to process his death, described him as a peaceful man who focused on work and family. She said he was her last brother and could not understand why anyone would want to take his life.
According to the report, Campbell operated several businesses in the New Building district. About 9:30 p.m., he was closing his restaurant in Nain Square when two men came up to him and appeared to be customers seeking food.
While Campbell was serving them, one of the men reportedly drew a firearm and shot him in the upper body. Campbell collapsed, and the attackers fled the area.
