
Robert Dawes, a 60-year-old resident of George Reid District in Manchester, died yesterday following an incident in Balvenie Heights, Mandeville.
The police reported that about 10:30 a.m., Dawes was seated beneath a tree when steel from a truck carrying building material came loose and hit him.
He was transported to hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
