Rain brought an early finish in Dublin as Ireland women claimed a one-run Duckworth-Lewis victory over West Indies women in the fourth match of the tri-nation T20 series today.

Set 142 from 20 overs, Ireland had moved to 99 for 5 after 14.1 overs when play was halted. With no restart possible, the hosts were awarded the match, captain Orla Prendergast's unbeaten 71 from 46 balls proving decisive.

The result is Ireland's maiden Women's T20I success against West Indies. Ireland now sit alongside West Indies at the top of the table in a competition that also includes Pakistan.
