
Teen Held After Brother Killed, Two Relatives Critically Hurt In St Elizabeth Chopping
A 19-year-old man is in police custody after investigators say he used a machete to attack his family during a dispute at their home in Stephenson Town, near Southfield, St Elizabeth, early Saturday.
Police identified the man who was killed as Travis Williams, a labourer who lived in Stephenson Town, Seaview, St Elizabeth.
According to the police report, the teenager allegedly wounded his two brothers and their mother shortly before 1:00 am. A 14-year-old sibling and the boys' 43-year-old mother were taken to hospital in critical condition.
Williams was found dead at the house. Police said his body had severe chop injuries in several areas. The 19-year-old was later held by police.
