Tina Clayton Tops Jamaican Sprint Sweep At Rabat Diamond League

Jamaica stamped its authority on the Diamond League stop in Rabat, Morocco, taking all three places in the women’s 100 metres. Tina Clayton was quickest in a season-best 10.85 seconds, with Lavanya Williams second in 10.95 and Jonielle Smith third in 11.00. Jamaican competitors also impressed elsewhere, among them Rushell Clayton, who placed third in the 400m hurdles. Athletes from the United States and Europe won several other events on a programme that produced world-leading marks.
