TODSS urges action on hazardous roads after Falmouth crash kills seven
Transport Operators Development Sustainable Services (TODSS) is pressing officials to tackle unsafe road surfaces at known crash hot spots, following a fatal collision in Falmouth, Trelawny, yesterday.
The crash involved two vehicles and claimed seven lives. TODSS President Egeton Newman said the tragedy echoes a fatal wreck at the same location last year in which taxi operators were among the dead.
Newman said poor road conditions were again flagged at a recent sitting of the National Road Safety Council. He also urged motorists heading to St. Ann this weekend for assorted events to drive with heightened care.
