Travis Scott Faces Yacht Crew Lawsuit Over Reported Miami Clash

Hip-hop star Travis Scott is being sued by yacht crew over a reported June 2024 episode in Miami in which, they say, he turned hostile while under the influence of alcohol.

According to the complaint, Scott issued threats, struck members of the staff and blocked them from exiting the vessel ahead of his arrest on a disorderly conduct charge.

Defence counsel Bradford Cohen rejected any suggestion that an assault took place, describing the matter as a misunderstanding and pointing out that earlier charges were dismissed.

The crew are pursuing compensation on grounds of alleged battery, assault and false imprisonment.
