Trayvon Reid joins Mount Pleasant after Harbour View relegation
Striker Trayvon Reid has left Harbour View FC for Mount Pleasant Football Academy, trading the Stars of the East’s yellow and blue for the blue and white of his new club.
Reid is among several players Mount Pleasant has brought in ahead of the new season. He arrives after a strong Jamaica Premier League campaign in which he posted double-digit totals for both goals and assists.
The former Kingston College forward accounted for 21 of Harbour View’s 53 league goals and finished runner-up in the Golden Boot race, behind Raheem Edwards, who is now his Mount Pleasant teammate. Those numbers were not enough to keep Harbour View in the top flight, as the club was relegated.
Reid and Mount Pleasant are due to leave Jamaica on Wednesday for the CFU Club Shield in Trinidad and Tobago.
