A now-viral clip showing Tyla standing near Rihanna sparked online rumours that the superstar was ignoring her, and fans immediately started whispering about possible drama.

Tyla quickly took to TikTok to shut that down, explaining there’s absolutely no “beef” between them.

According to the Grammy winner, Rihanna simply seemed busy, and after an awkward first meeting last year, when Rihanna reportedly rushed off after saying A$AP Rocky was calling... She just didn’t want to interrupt again.

The "Water" singer explained that she’d rather have a relaxed, genuine conversation with Rihanna someday instead of forcing a quick hello in a hectic moment. Tyla even shared a photo of them together to prove there’s no bad blood.

The singer also addressed the long-running comparisons between herself and Rihanna, calling it a compliment while reminding fans that she’s carving out her own lane. As Tyla put it: Rihanna is Rihanna and Tyla is Tyla. Periodt!
