VBR Fun Zone launches interactive inflatable games for Jamaican events

VBR Fun Zone, a month-old entertainment outfit under the Variety by Ryans brand, is taking interactive inflatable games to events across Jamaica.

Manager Tiffany Bryan explained that VBR stands for Variety by Ryans, a group built around several businesses. The Fun Zone is the portfolio’s third and newest addition. Though the service has only been operating for about a month, Bryan said the team has already worked events and received encouraging feedback from guests.

"We cater to birthday parties, community events, corporate events, brand activations and baby showers—any event that promotes inclusion, fun, laughter and a little friendly competition," she said.

Bryan traced the idea to founder Ronisha Roden and planning for a child’s birthday. The group did not want the usual bounce houses or water slides. After research, they invested in interactive inflatable games and decided to market the experience to other communities in Jamaica.

The attraction lineup includes several skill-based games. On Point asks players to toss rings onto a raised target within a 60-second time limit. A Dumbo-themed setup uses a ring-toss format over an elephant-trunk design. Hoop Shoot tests shooting accuracy from a set distance. A giant tic-tac-toe board uses coloured balls that competitors try to land in slots from afar. Football Darts features velcro targets and a football that can be thrown or kicked to test precision.
