Authorities in Hanover recovered the badly decomposed remains of a 74-year-old retired teacher on Saturday after the man went missing from Lucea. The body was found suspended from a steel bar at a building site in the Providence area of the town.
Officials have confirmed the dead man as Devon Ruddock, who lived in the Haughton Court district of Lucea. Accounts indicate he was last known to be alive on Sunday, July 5.
Speaking with CVM News, investigators said Ruddock was believed to have been battling depression and may have ended his own life.
