Westmoreland rider dies after Big Bridge motorcycle crash

Police attached to Little London in Westmoreland say a man hurt in a two-motorcycle crash early Wednesday has died while being treated at hospital.
He has been named as 25-year-old D'Angelo Brown, who lived on Darling Street in Westmoreland.
According to reports, Brown, another rider and a pillion passenger on Brown's motorcycle were heading towards Savanna-la-Mar about 4:00 a.m. When they got to a part of the Big Bridge main road, the second motorcyclist reportedly tried to steer around a large pothole in the centre of the road and struck Brown's bike.
The impact sent both motorcycles, the two riders and the passenger onto the pavement. All three suffered head and body injuries and were taken to hospital, where Brown died during treatment. The other two injured persons were admitted in critical condition.
