
Huddersfield man dies after arriving at Port Maria Hospital with chest stab wound
Detectives in St Mary have launched an inquiry into the death of 46-year-old Rajesh Keshoor Allen of Huddersfield, after he showed up at Port Maria Hospital with a stab injury on Wednesday.
A police report states that Allen reached the facility at about 9:12 p.m. with what appeared to be a stab wound to the chest.
"Allen was immediately taken to the Accident and Emergency Department, where he was treated by medical personnel. Despite their efforts, he later succumbed to his injuries," said Anthony Wallace, commanding officer for the St Mary Police Division.
The investigation remains active. Anyone who can assist is asked to contact the Port Maria Criminal Investigation Branch at 876-994-4222 or 876-333-9530, Crime Stop at 311, or the nearest police station.
