Zayn Malik's Family Asks Fans to Halt Flower Deliveries, Suggests Charity Donations Instead

يناشد أقارب زين مالك المؤيدين التوقف عن إرسال باقات الزهور إلى المستشفى الذي يتلقى فيه المغني العلاج من مرض لم يُكشف عنه، موجّهين كرمهم بدلاً من ذلك نحو قضية خيرية.

وقد ابتعد المغني البالغ من العمر 33 عاماً، الذي نشر مؤخراً صورة له من سرير المستشفى، عن الأنشطة الترويجية المرتبطة بألبومه الأحدث Konnakol. ووفقاً لابنة عمه ساشا مالك، فإن كمية الباقات التي تصل باسمه باتت يصعب التحكم بها.

وفي رسالة نشرتها على قصتها على إنستغرام يوم الأربعاء، كتبت ساشا: "We're so grateful for everyone who has reached out to send bouquets! Logistically, it just simply can't work, but we appreciate you all so much please donate anything you'd like on Zayn's behalf to The Palestine Project!"

كما شاركت إشعاراً من The Hidden Bouquet، وهو محل لبيع الزهور يقع في الشمال الغربي، أكّد فيه أنه لم يعد بإمكانه قبول الطلبات لصالح عائلة المغني. ونصّ البيان: "Due to the high volume of requests for Zayn Mailk and his family, we are unfortunately no longer able to take any further orders at this time."

وأضاف محل الزهور: "We truly appreciate the love and support show. If you would still like to make a meaningful gesture, the Malik family would greatly appreciate donations being made to the Palestine Project via the link below. You are welcome to donate the amount you would have spent on a bouquet and leave a message of support there. The fundraiser will be checked by the family and your kind words and contributions will go a long way."

وكان زين قد كشف لأول مرة عن وعكته الصحية على حسابه الشخصي على إنستغرام قبل أسبوعين، شاكراً المؤيدين والطاقم الطبي معترفاً بأن تعافيه يستغرق وقتاً أطول مما كان متوقعاً. وكتب حينها: "To my fans - thank you to all of you for your love and support now and always - been a long week and am still unexpectedly recovering. Heartbroken that I can't see you all this week, I wouldn't be in the place I am today without you guys and am so thankful for your understanding. Thank you to the incredible hospital staff of Drs, nurses, cardiologist, management, admin and everyone who has helped along the way and continue to. You are all legends! Big big love xx z. (sic)."

أما المغني، الذي كان من المقرر أن يشارك في جلسة استماع للألبوم، فلم يقدّم أي معلومات إضافية عن حالته. ومن بين الالتزامات التي لم يتمكن من الوفاء بها لقاء كان مقرراً في برنامج The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
