Zayn Malik's Family Asks Fans to Halt Flower Deliveries, Suggests Charity Donations Instead

Relatives of Zayn Malik are appealing to supporters to stop forwarding floral arrangements to the hospital where the singer is being treated for an undisclosed illness, redirecting their generosity toward a charitable cause instead.
The 33-year-old, who recently posted an image of himself from a hospital bed, has stepped away from promotional activities tied to his latest album, Konnakol. According to his cousin, Sasha Malik, the volume of bouquets arriving on his behalf has grown unmanageable.
In a message posted to her Instagram story on Wednesday, Sasha wrote: "We're so grateful for everyone who has reached out to send bouquets! Logistically, it just simply can't work, but we appreciate you all so much please donate anything you'd like on Zayn's behalf to The Palestine Project!"
She also shared a notice from The Hidden Bouquet, a florist based in the North West, which confirmed it could no longer accept orders for the singer's family. "Due to the high volume of requests for Zayn Mailk and his family, we are unfortunately no longer able to take any further orders at this time," the statement read.
The florist added: "We truly appreciate the love and support show. If you would still like to make a meaningful gesture, the Malik family would greatly appreciate donations being made to the Palestine Project via the link below. You are welcome to donate the amount you would have spent on a bouquet and leave a message of support there. The fundraiser will be checked by the family and your kind words and contributions will go a long way."
Zayn first disclosed the health scare on his own Instagram account a fortnight ago, thanking supporters and medical staff while admitting his recovery was taking longer than anticipated. "To my fans - thank you to all of you for your love and support now and always - been a long week and am still unexpectedly recovering. Heartbroken that I can't see you all this week, I wouldn't be in the place I am today without you guys and am so thankful for your understanding. Thank you to the incredible hospital staff of Drs, nurses, cardiologist, management, admin and everyone who has helped along the way and continue to. You are all legends! Big big love xx z. (sic)," he wrote at the time.
The singer, who had been scheduled to take part in an album playback session, has not offered any additional information about his condition. Among the engagements he was unable to honour was a planned sit-down on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
