ST ANDREW, Jamaica — Detectives assigned to the Constant Spring Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are searching for four men in connection with a stabbing incident that left a construction worker seriously injured in Cassava Piece on Wednesday evening.
The incident reportedly occurred about 7:15 p.m. along Glen Drive in the community when a 40-year-old construction labourer was allegedly attacked by several men armed with knives and firearms.
During the assault, the victim sustained stab wounds to the abdomen as well as injuries to other sections of his body.
He was transported to the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH), where he was admitted in serious but stable condition.
Police have identified the men being sought as Daniel Wilson, also known as “Dan Man”; Jaheem Smith, otherwise called “Jah Jah”; Tajay Brown, also known as “Mad Dog”; and another individual known only by the alias “Punochio.”
Investigators said all four men are from the Glen Drive area of Cassava Piece, Kingston 8.
The Constant Spring CIB is continuing investigations and has urged the men to surrender to the police without delay.
