Hatfield teen Andrew Williams killed in Logwood Mews motorcycle crash

1 min readManchester

HATFIELD, Manchester — A teenager riding a motorcycle lost his life in a two-vehicle collision along Logwood Mews in Hatfield on Tuesday.

The victim was 19-year-old Andrew Williams, who police confirmed lived in the Manchester community.

Investigators said the crash occurred around 4:30 pm on Logwood Mews, approximately 300 metres south of its intersection with Hatfield main road. A green Snypa CG200 motorcycle and a Honda motor car were involved.

Williams was ejected from the motorcycle during the impact. He was declared dead after being taken to hospital.

Police road-death statistics, current to 6:00 am Thursday, put the national toll at 134 fatalities for the year to date. Over the matching period in 2025, the figure was 176.

The updated count reflects several recent losses, including three men who died in a Wednesday night collision on the Braco main road in Trelawny and one man killed in a separate Wednesday morning crash on the Llandovery main road in St Ann.
