TRELAWNY, Jamaica: Trelawny Crash — Two men lost their lives and several others were injured, one critically, following a three-vehicle collision in the Braco area of Trelawny on Wednesday night.
The identities of the deceased have not yet been released by the authorities.
Reports indicate that the crash occurred around 9:00 p.m. and involved a Toyota Hiace, a Toyota Fielder, and a Toyota Voxy.
One of the victims reportedly died at the scene, while another was among two people trapped in the wreckage who had to be extricated by emergency responders. He was later pronounced dead at hospital.
Several other occupants sustained injuries and were transported to hospital for treatment. One person is said to be in critical condition.
The Trelawny police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
