Apprentice Jaheim Anderson hits 20 winners after Saturday double

1 min readSt. Catherine

Apprentice rider Jaheim Anderson added two more victories to his ledger on Saturday, July 11, 2026, taking his count for the campaign to 20.

He opened the afternoon in Race 2 partnering CasuallyYours for conditioner Michael Marlowe, then followed up immediately in Race 3 with Solace for Barrington Bernard.

CasuallyYours, a four-year-old bay filly by Casual Trick out of Unpredictable, dominated the Maiden Condition Race restricted to locally bred horses aged four and older over seven furlongs (1,400m). She drew clear to score by 13¼ lengths from Reportable Offense, ridden by Dane Dawkins, with Drop Off and Tajay Suckoo finishing third. The clock stopped at 1:30.1.

Solace had a sterner assignment, weaving through traffic to capture the Restricted Allowance for native-bred five-year-olds and older that had not won three races, plus imported rivals of the same age group with fewer than two wins, over 5½ furlongs (1,100m). The margin was a neck over Linstead Market under Raddesh Roman, with Another Mission and Tevin Foster next across the line in 1:10.0.
