
Spanish Town labourer dies in hospital after gully discovery with head injury
Law enforcement officers in Spanish Town, St Catherine, are carrying out inquiries after a man discovered badly hurt in a gully died while being treated at hospital.
The deceased has been named as 36-year-old Orane Goldbourne, a labourer of Tawes Pen, Spanish Town.
Information reaching the media indicates that around 4 a.m. on May 16, people in the vicinity came across Goldbourne in a gully. He seemed to have an injury at the back of his head.
He was taken to Spanish Town Hospital for care. Goldbourne did not survive and passed away about 10 p.m. on May 17 while still under treatment.
The Spanish Town Criminal Investigation Branch is examining the events that led to his injuries and his presence in the gully.
