Hanover, Jamaica — The decomposed body of a 74-year-old retired teacher who had been reported missing was discovered at a construction site in Lucea, Hanover, on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Devon Ruddock of Haughton Court district in Lucea.
According to reports, Ruddock was last seen alive on Sunday, July 5, before he was reported missing. His body was later found hanging from a steel bar at a construction site in the Providence area of Lucea.
Investigators told CVM News that Ruddock had reportedly been experiencing depression. Police are continuing their investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death.
