Reggae artiste Imeru Tafari joins forces with Yohan Marley and veteran reggae singer I-Wayne for his upcoming single “Guardian,” slated for release on Friday, June 12.
Rooted deeply in Rastafari culture, the song delivers a spiritual message centered around faith in Rastafari and the guidance of Emperor Haile Selassie I as a protector and guardian. The production is driven by authentic roots reggae elements, featuring live drums from Grammy-nominated musician Keneil Drumz.
Imeru Tafari, son of acclaimed reggae singer Queen Ifrica, has continued to build a reputation for music inspired by spirituality and conscious messages. Over the years, he has collaborated with several notable artistes, with his most recognized release being “Elevate” featuring Popcaan, which has amassed nearly 80 million views on YouTube to date.
The rising reggae artiste is also expected to perform at Nothing Without God - LIVE this Saturday in Kingston.
