Port Royal SeaWalk
Unlike traditional ports, Port Royal features the Seawalk technology which is a floating articulated bridge that extends from the port to the ship offering an immersive and environmentally friendly docking experience.
Due to its historical and ecological sensitivity, including the Sunken City and archaeological treasures, the Port Authority of Jamaica (PAJ) implemented the SeaWalk Technology, to ensure minimal disruption to the seabed while maintaining Port Royal’s rich heritage.
