Audrey Marks Reacquires Full Ownership of Paymaster Jamaica in Fintech Push
Share
Senator and Former Ambassador of Jamaica to the United States of America Audrey Marks has reacquired full ownership of Paymaster Jamaica Limited after buying the 80 per cent stake previously held by Digicel.
Senator Marks said the move will help transform Paymaster into a fintech-focused company with expanded digital services.
She noted that she will not be involved in the company’s day-to-day operations because of her duties as a Cabinet minister and MP.
Paymaster plans to expand its services to Jamaicans in the diaspora through online platforms and physical locations.
The goal is to make financial services more accessible, affordable and convenient for Jamaicans worldwide.
