JMMB team members recently gathered for its annual sales retreat under the theme, “LIFT OFF: The Power of Us!”, held at the Dock Yard, Port Royal, for a transformational, high-energy, purpose-driven experience designed to strengthen collaboration, reignite passion and power the next phase of growth across JMMB Jamaica.

Reflecting on the impact of the engagement, Donna Duncan-Scott, Group Chief Culture and Human Development Officer, JMMB Group, underscored its importance in empowering team members and reigniting their collective purpose. “Experiences like these are critical in helping our team members reconnect with their ‘why,’ feel empowered to show up as their best selves, and harness the power of love in working together to deliver exceptional outcomes,” she shared.

The one-day engagement, hosted by Jhanelle Bowie, brought together sales team members and leaders for a dynamic mix of presentations, interactive sessions and strategic discussions, all anchored in the power of collective action and a shared vision. Reinforcing this focus, Alwayne Cousins, Country Chief Client Partnership Officer, JMMB Group Jamaica, emphasised the importance of alignment and collaboration in driving performance. “As we look ahead, it is how we work together, leveraging our collective strengths and staying aligned on our goals, that will power our next phase of growth and deepen the impact we have on our clients,” he noted.

Presenters, including keynote speaker Gary C. Sadler, O.D., Executive Vice President of Sales and Industry Relations, Unique Vacations, Inc., an affiliate of Sandals and Beaches Resorts; Dr. Luz Longsworth, Senior Corporate Director, Sandals Corporate University; Dr. Jhodie Bowie-Dean, psychologist; and Jason Worton, sound bath facilitator, challenged team members to elevate their mindset, remain adaptable in a changing environment, strengthen connections, and prioritise mental resilience and personal renewal as part of achieving sustained success. Complemented by collaborative discussions on aligning sales strategies and strengthening cross-functional teamwork, the sessions provided a well-rounded experience aimed at equipping team members to perform at their best.
