MONTEGO BAY, St James — A wave of coordinated police activity across western parishes has led to the charging of two men in what investigators describe as a wider criminal network operating across multiple communities.

Detectives attached to the St James Police Division have formally charged Richard Dennie and Tyrone Murray with being part of a criminal organisation.

The charges stem from a string of reported incidents spanning Hanover, St James, Trelawny, and Manchester between June 2025 and September 2025.

According to police reports, both men were under sustained investigation for some time as detectives pieced together alleged links to a series of serious offences across the four parishes. The allegations include involvement in robberies, shootings, and larceny, forming part of what investigators believe to be coordinated criminal activity rather than isolated incidents.

Following a targeted operation, both Dennie and Murray were taken into custody and subsequently charged.

Their court date is currently being finalised as the investigation continues.
