Popcaan has secured his first appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 through Drake’s “Amazing Shape,” which entered this week’s chart at number 76. According to World Music Views, the track opened with 63,400 equivalent units in the United States and moved more than 10,000 units in Canada. The song appears on the Made of Honor project.

Safaree Samuels has also paid an emotional tribute to his mother. The reality television personality posted a photo on Instagram showing him dancing with her, saying he remains in disbelief that he can no longer speak with her or embrace her. He said nothing and no one could hurt him again, closing the message with: “Mommy, I miss you every second, every minute, every hour of every day.”

Safaree announced his mother’s death on social media in March, sharing several images in remembrance of her life. No official information has been released about the cause or circumstances of her passing.

On the international entertainment scene, Ray J has been admitted to hospital after an MMA bout. The 45-year-old singer and reality star, whose given name is William Ray Norwood Jr., checked himself into a Las Vegas medical facility on Saturday night, two hours after being knocked out in the cage. He has reportedly remained there for several days as doctors carry out tests to determine his condition.

Reports also state that Ray J has been dealing with heart issues connected to years of drug and alcohol use. The entertainer has been putting greater focus on his wellbeing since a serious health scare in January.

Meanwhile, Drake celebrated moving past Michael Jackson for the most Billboard Hot 100 number-one songs by a male solo artiste after “Janice SDFU” debuted at the top of the chart on Tuesday. The Canadian rapper shared a social media post featuring a Michael Jackson photo and wrote: “Neck broke from carrying the chain. Back broke from carrying the game. Records broken carrying my name. Carry on. Carry on.”

The track gave Drake his 14th Hot 100 number one, taking him beyond Jackson’s mark. The Beatles still lead overall, including groups, with 20 number-one singles. Drake also placed 42 songs on this week’s Hot 100, passing Morgan Wallen’s record of 37 entries set last May, after releasing Iceman, Habibi and Made of Honor Trifecta.
