Drake Makes Billboard History As Three Albums Open At No. 1, No. 2 And No. 3

Drake has made Billboard history, becoming the first artist to place three albums in the top three positions at the same time, as “Iceman,” “Habibti” and “Maid of Honour” arrive at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3, according to Billboard.
“Iceman,” which Drake had previewed for close to two years before putting it out, starts atop the Billboard 200 with 463,000 equivalent album units. The project gives him his 15th No. 1 album, moving him ahead of Jay-Z for the most leaders by a solo man and by an R&B/hip-hop act.
The total also draws Drake level with Taylor Swift for the most No. 1 albums among solo performers. Only the Beatles remain ahead, with 19.
“Iceman” posted the second-biggest album sales week of 2026, trailing only BTS’ “Arirang,” which moved 641,000 units. It is also the year’s strongest week for an R&B/hip-hop release.
“Habibti” follows at No. 2 with 114,000 units, while “Maid of Honour” opens at No. 3 with 110,000 units.
