Two men on murder charge deported from St. Kitts-Nevis

Two men, who were deported to Jamaica from St. Kitts & Nevis last Thursday, have been charged in connection with the 2023 murder of 20 year-old Kimani Letman of Steertown St. Ann.
They are 31 year-old Shevon Brown, otherwise called Bala, and 37 year-old Kemar Matthews, also known as Bibi, both of Autaria Saint Ann.
The police had reported at the time that on the morning of February 8, 2023, armed men forced their way into a house occupied by Mr. Lettman and another man, shooting them before escaping on foot.
Both victims were taken to a hospital, where Mr. Letmanos pronounced the dead.
Investigators later discovered that the accused men had fled Jamaica to St. Kitts & Nevis. They were deported to Jamaica last Thursday, taken into custody, and subsequently charged with murder and several firearm related offenses, including wounding with intent, possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorized possession of ammunition, and burglary.
